PLANNING
SUGGESTIONS;
When planning your event, take into consideration normal meal times. Parties or receptions at or near
regular meal times will generally require greater portions.
Appetizer parties normally require greater portions
since most appetizer items are smaller in size. Your guest will want to sample a little bit of everything so choose them in
proper portions. It is always a good idea to add a large serving of one or two items that are easily recognizable for your
guest. This will enable you to stay within your budget.
Examples are of these items are: Jambalaya* Seafood
Gumbo* Mini Assorted Sandwiches*Boiled Shrimp Platters*Fried Boudin Balls*Fried Catfish Fingers*Fried
Crab Fingers*Pasta Dishes. Visit our Entree' page or browse the site for other suggestions.
Fresh fruit and
vegetables are always a compliment to your display and offer a treat for those who do not consume meat or seafood.
Dips should be always be included in your event as well. Seafood, warm cheeses, spinach and artichoke and others will please
a crowd.
Desserts are always an expected and anticipated treat at any party or function. Assorted dessert trays
are provide a greater selection over a single large item. Providing a variety of cheese cake and fruit squares will more than
please your guest. A tray of chocolate covered strawberries is very appealing and a great crowd pleaser.
